MCIOB is the world-recognised post-nominal for construction professionals.
The Chartered Membership Programme (CMP) is a route to becoming a Chartered Construction Manager, for those without a degree but who have five or more years of industry experience.
Chartered membership of CIOB has been benchmarked by ENIC, the UK Department for Education academic comparability body, as being equivalent to a UK Bachelors Degree.

All four modules, typically requiring a 2000 word report for each based on CIOB's project scenario, are examined twice a year in June or November. The candidate can nominate which exam they are studying toward.
